Meet Scott
I got exposed to really grand things when I grew up and I really haven’t been able to coast since then. My parents went to great lengths to give me unique opportunities. For example, I did my first speaking in a play role at age 4, went on a national tour in a music group at age 12 and played a part for an NBC Christmas special at age 17. I didn’t sit still very well, so in my spare time I was an all-state athlete, started my own company and worked in a multi-billion dollar TV studio on the weekends. In my 20’s I was given the chance to be mentored by best-selling authors and billionaires, traveling the globe and studying the great organizations of our time from the inside, acquiring multiple leadership coaching certifications, and earning a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership.
In 2002, I began coaching and consulting with leaders, helping them take their organizations to the next level. I’ve since consulted with leaders on six continents working in multi-billion-dollar global companies, software start-ups, Ivy League universities, and as a part of national healthcare initiatives. For eight years I parked my consulting practice to the side to serve as an in-house consultant at Chick-fil-A headquarters, working directly with their top leaders on company strategy and leading the implementation of major change programs. Though I’m not on staff there anymore, I continue to work with their leaders to this day.
In addition to leading Swoz Consulting, I am a keynote speaker and have written three books (and have a fourth coming out in 2022), I’m also an active member of Mensa (international genius society), read over 200 books each year, have founded three other organizations, and risk my life as often as I can in a variety of ways from heli-skiing to Spartan Races. But best of all is my time at home in the Atlanta area with my wife and four kids.
If you’d like to learn more about me and explore how I could lead a keynote or workshop at your event, please visit my speaker site here.
